March 15, 2012, Day 75 of my 365 Days of Photographs
Hmmm, just a fence post in our yard. It has a bit of new snow on it, and I hope that is the extent of our snow for this winter. Yeah, right!
March 13, 2012, Day 73 of my 365 Days of Photographs
So, today is Kevin's birthday, and these vanilla wafers are the closest thing to a birthday cake that I had to take a picture of. Anyway, I hope Kevin has a wonderful birthday, and enjoys my vanilla wafer cookie tumble instead of a cake!
March 12, 2012, Day 72 of my 365 Days of Photographs
I seem to be on a cloud thing lately. I love clouds, and I find the clouds in Canada really great. The first time I came to Canada to visit, I took so many pictures of the clouds, and that was in the days before I had a digital camera! I still really enjoy clouds, so there will be lots on my blog!

Bryon grabbing a hay bale to take home to the cows in our yard. I thought this might be a good picture to use to say Happy Birthday to Virginia!
March 10, 2012, Day 70 of my 365 Days of Photographs
Today would have been my dad's 87 birthday. I think he would have liked this picture, so all I will say is, Happy Birthday, Dad. I love you!

March 9, 2012, Day 69 of my 365 Days of Photographs
We just happened to run across a herd of elk in my brother-in-law's pasture today. We don't see elk in that area very often. I'm sure glad I had my camera with me!
March 8, 2012, Day 68 of my 365 Days of Photographs
The sky always looks so cool, but my photographs never seem to do it justice. However, I still think this looks pretty cool!
March 7, 2012, Day 67 of my 365 Days of Photographs
I used to collect unicorns. When I moved to Canada, I got rid of almost all of the unicorns that I had. This one was particularly special to me, and since it was small, I kept it. I just think it is sweet.
March 5, 2012, Day 65 of my 365 Days of Photographs
For some reason I have been fascinated with food pictures the last few days. This is a little squash we bought a while back. We haven't done anything with it, so today I thought I would experiment with pictures of it. I wanted to focus on the stem and blur the rest. It mostly looks like what I wanted.
March 4, 2012, Day 64 of my 365 Days of Photographs
This is a variety of Indian corn that we actually grew. We only got about 10 ears of corn, and I'm not sure what my husband wanted to do with them, but I think all the colors in it look pretty cool. Each ear of corn was a bit different in color. This piece has been gnawed on a bit. My little dog, Joon, loves to get up on the counter and take the smaller piece to her kennel to chew on a bit. Silly dog!
March 3, 2012, Day 63 of my 365 Days of Photographs
These are some Russian stacking dolls that a friend actually brought me from Russia. I just played around with them because I think they are pretty cute.

March 2, 2012, Day 62 of my 365 Days of Photographs
I love these grain storage bins. They are located in a field far out in the bush, a very remote area. The first time we came across them, I was quite surprised. It just didn't seem like they fit. There are actually three or four more of them spread across this area. They were all in my original picture, but I didn't think it would look good so spread out, so I cropped it. I also switched it to mostly black and white. There is still a bit of blue to the sky, but I like the way it looks.
March 1, 2012, Day 61 of my 365 Days of Photographs
I was playing around with pictures of some cute knick knacks I have, and I thought this one was particularly cute. I liked it best in black and white. The colors on it are very soft, but the faces just seemed more touching in black and white.
